Highly deserved MVP winners this year were Julie-Anne Moore from Bucks Whiz and Sianne Way of Crushers , for the guys , Rich Hawkins from Guppy’s..

Both will be invited to play in the Charity Shield Challenge Match for the MVP’s against Div 1 champs The Jets on Sept 29th at the Cricket Club.

DIVISION 2

The Title goes to the burgeoning Scorgs who were a Div 3 team 5 minutes ago! They ripped up the form book and beat the favourites for the title, the LSD’s into the runners up place.

Friendly Fire who struggled manfully to get a team out all season ..and Grandslammers pay the ultimate price and are relegated to Div 3

Home Run Heroes were Caroline Meade from the Force and Stu Kellock from Phoenix.

MVP accolades went to Jo Busby of Greasy Mitts and Karen Yates from Scorgsfor the guys, Jess Loughborough of …Friendly Fire ! .. was he the only one playing ?

They too will be invited to participate in the Charity Shield Challenge Match on the 29th

DIVISION 3

A very close title race went to the Base Invaders who, from a position firmly in the lower half of the division last year have experienced meteoric improvement including a double win over their closest rivals Monmouth Rockets ..who have also improved in the year – the two teams finished on the same number of points with Base Invaders taking the title on the head to head rule.

Big Hitting Monster home run award winners were Jen Burge from the Base Invaders and Ed Cheyney from the Ice Cold Pitchers.

Congratulations to all our winners and we hope to see you all at Charity Shield Challenge Match for the MVP’s of 2013 and 2012 season against Div 1 champs The Jets on Sept 29th at the Cricket Club.

There will also be an awards ceremony where all you lucky winners can pick up your trophies and medals whilst being being warmly congratulated by all your rivals and peers .. yes really !
